The binder is just your standard office two-hole binder, in worn condition. However, inside are many original (restricted) AAF & Navy publications, most just a few pages, but some are quite substantial. All have to do with aircraft instruments. Most are stamped "Portland Army Air Base, Oregon." price is for the whole bundle. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall View More...
Absolutely wonderful illustrations. Line drawings of biplanes, chromolithographs, and a really, really nice full color chromo 2 page center spread. Rubbed around the edges of the paper covered boards, with surface soil darkening the covers somewhat. For an almost 90 year old children's book, this is pretty cottin' pickin' nice. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 14 pages View More...
Wraps are lightly soiled. Cover shows the emblem of the 15th Air Force. Owner's name on the front. Appears to be a locally produced book, for use by crew members, from a typewritten or mimeographed manuscript. ; Square 32mo 4" - 5" tall; 115 pages View More...

It would appear this was done to enable someone to create a very detailed model of the aircraft. Also included are 4 plates of "Airframe Construction & General Details. 1918 German Pursuit Type Fok. D VII." In addition, there is a packet of an additional 35 B/W photos of engines and part. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 82 pages View More...

I can't tell if the card covers are original to the book, but they appear to be. A couple of stamps, a barcode, and a bookplate inside the front cover are the extent of the xlib markings. There is a bit of rubbing to the edges of the card covers. The book is not paginated sequentially, but is just over 1/2" thick. Mimeographed on coarse paper. An organizational chart on blueprint paper (dated March 30th, 1926) is in a pocket in the back. Only a few pictures, but gives the new officer detailed information on the construction of dirigibles, biplanes, etc. At the facility. Down to how to sew ... View More...
Includes 10 issues from the first two volumes, then a straight run from volume 3, no. 1 to vol. 7, no. 12. The first two volumes are 8 1/2x11, 4 pages, the rest are half that size, 6 to 10 pages. A very scarce bit of Northwest aviation history. First two volumes are punched for a three ring binder, the rest have gummed tabs applied, for the same purpose. Should be removeable if you wish, as they are water based, and a damp sponge will remove them. I've never seen another copy of this publication. The only xlib marks are a stamp or pencil notation in the upper right corner. ; Ex-Library; 8vo 8... View More...
Light soil to the covers, old crease at the upper right corner. Unfortunately, previous idiot owner stamped his name & silly symbol on the second page (the revision page) , happily not on the title page. You wonder why someone who collects aviation books would do such a stupid, stupid thing. Doesn't really hurt the book much, but it is still really dumb. Ticks me off (can you tell? ). Includes the revision pages in the rear. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 88+14 pages View More...
Rubbed at the corners. While it appears to have a dust jacket, it does not. The wraps have flaps. Text is bilingual , Italian and English. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 127 pages View More...
Rubbing and chipping to the spines & edges. Contents are very good. Volume 1, no. 1 has a small tear at the top of the last 3 pages. The last volume (vol. 2, no. 3) was evidently on the bottom of the stack on a garage or basement floor. The back is water damaged. Wrinkled, and the last 1/3 of the pages are stuck together. I discounted this volume in the price. The price is for all 4 issues. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; ~110 each pages View More...
