Emma Lawson, who lived in Waterloo, Iowa, evidently received this book in 1978. She was 9 years old, and made several inscriptions on the endpapers over the next few years. Light wear on the corners, but spine ends are worn, and the cloth is splitting on the esterior hinges. The book is still intact, since another layer of cloth is present under the decorated cover. 1" tear at the bottom of one page. Not bad. Little Emma took good care of a book she must have hightly prized.; 7x10" View more info
