The spine is dulled. Inscribed by Doctor Robert Wood on the fep (dated 1941). Inside the front cover is tipped a mimeograph copy of a speech given in his honor. Tipped onto the half-title is an article on his death, and on the following page a clipping about his wife's death. On one page inside is a short narrative by the owner of the book about an incident with Wood, and a handwritten letter by Wood concerning the incident (a joke involving phony cement fossils). Also included are three very cute and attractive hand-painted table cards. They are labeled "R. W. Wood Dinner Cards". A very nice association copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 335 pages; Signed by Biographee
