Appleton, Victor Don Sturdy and the Harpoon Hunters or the Strange Cruise of the Whaling Ship NY Grosset & Dunlap 1935 First Edition Original Cloth Good in Poor dust jacket Book is moisture damaged, which does not stain the text, but does affect the upper corner of the fep, and the same corner of the covers (dye missing from upper outer corners, and one spot on the center edge of the front cover). Dj has a matching stain in that corner, front & back, plus a very large chip missing, upper 1/3 of spine, and upper left corner of front panel, ~3 1/3x2". Two pieces of tape on dj. Too bad, as the balance of the dj is unfaded & bright. Shows fellow in a boat getting ready to harpoon a green whale. Hinges are tight, and the staining on the back corner of the cover is minimal.; 5x7 1/2" Price: 142.50 USD

Cresent from cup bottom on back cover. Area of soiling on upper right spine, slightly overlapping onto front cover. Interior & all hinges tight.
