Each photo is 2 3/4x1 3/4". No date, but there is a horse-drawn buggy in one photo, and very early cars in a couple more. Probably about 1910? The pictures are brown/sepia, with some fading to some of them. One image shows Frank Rodgers roping. I find another reference to an image dated 1916 of Rodges, which implies these photos may cover a range of early years in Pendleton. Other than that, the only faults are two small marks on the front, and one vertical crease on the spine of the dust jacket, and the least bit of edge wear. Emma Lawson, who lived in Waterloo, Iowa, evidently received this book in 1978. She was 9 years old, and made several inscriptions on the endpapers over the next few years. Light wear on the corners, but spine ends are worn, and the cloth is splitting on the esterior hinges. The book is still intact, since another layer of cloth is present under the decorated cover. 1" tear at the bottom of one page. Not bad. Little Emma took good care of a book she must have hightly prized.; 7x10"
