Complete, but well-read. "Twelfth Thousand" on the title page. Inscription dated 1875 on the fep. Covers are rubbed at the corners. Hinges are intact, but the fep has been repaired, and the rear endpaper is missing. Two pages are loose, and therefore very worn at the edges. With all that, every page has colored illustrations, unfaded and unfoxed. A delightful book composed of translations of 5 smaller books translated from earlier German books.
