Bound in the original full leather. The topof the spine is chipped on one corner, and there is some rubbing at the corners. The leather is uncracked, and still very attractive. The lower label on the spine says "common school library", but there is no pocket, no numbers, and no stamps. There is a notice inside each of the covers saying the state donated to book to one of the counties.
